With our strong desire to build a local place of worship and extremely limited funds, we started with a simple structure of eucalyptus pillars, iron sheeting and tarpaulin walls. Unfortunately, termites descended upon the pillars, and the shade collapsed from strong winds. Yet, we are undeterred.
Our pastors and community members worked together and compacted and burnt 7,000 bricks, all by hand, to use in the construction of a more permanent structure to serve as our place of prayer and gathering.
We have built some walls, but are limited to using mud mortar, so heavy rains and termites continue to plague the structure.
We don't have the funds to acquire the materials needed to help build a decent, permanent House of Worship. We extend our humble request for a Good Samaritan to help us build a place of worship by supporting us in any way.
